How Do We Love Our Communities?

When it comes to community involvement, where do we start? We love supporting the communities where we live and work:  Oakdale, CA and Manteca, CA. We have sponsored many sports teams over the years including youth soccer (one of our agents, Cherilyn Bairos, is a coach), softball, baseball, swimming, water polo, and Sports Booster Clubs at high schools in Manteca, CA and Oakdale, CA.

We started our own charity many years ago, The Karen Basi Wave of Hope Foundation, to provide equipment and services to people with Multiple Sclerosis, since this disease affects two of our own. Even though the events stopped due to the pandemic-induced shutdown, the support has not. For many years, we have hosted a FREE Shred Event to help community members safely dispose of personal documents, and this year is no exception! Look for the Oakdale Shred Event in September this year. We donate to our local charities such as Community Sharing, Soroptomist International, LOVE Manteca, and many others. We also support our local Chambers of Commerce in both Manteca and Oakdale. In addition, we sponsor local events like the Oakdale Rodeo, the Crossroads Street Faire in Manteca, concerts at The Fruityard in Modesto, and many more!
